Dr. Richard Sigurdson, PhD, is the dean of UCalgary’s Faculty of Arts. His research interests lie in political theory, Canadian politics, and the politics of nationalism, specifically on national identity and how it affects public policies on immigration in different countries.

Dr. Lisa Young, PhD, is a professor in the School of Public Policy. Her research focuses on political parties, election finance and women’s participation in political life.
