Samuel Yeaman

Samuel Yeaman is an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences and the Alberta Innovates - Health Solutions Chair in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. His research aims to understand how organisms adapt to spatially and temporally heterogeneous environments and how this process shapes the genetic and genomic architecture of complex traits.

Understanding how evolution shapes the genomic basis of complex traits has important implications for medicine, personalized genomics, and predicting the response of natural populations to climate change.
