Brent Else is an assistant professor in the Department of Geography in UCalgary's Faculty of Arts. He is an Arctic scientist with a broad array of research interests, including air-sea gas exchange, marine carbon cycles, ocean acidification, and sea ice energy balance.

Susan Kutz is a professor in UCalgary's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and director of the Alberta Regional Centre of the Canadian Wildlife Health Centre.
