Elise Fear

Profile

Elise Fear is a professor in electrical and computer engineering at UCalgary’s Schulich School of Engineering. Her research interests are in creating flexible sensing and imaging systems that integrate multiple, low-cost sensing technologies to provide sensitive and specific detection of targets. Her team has developed significant expertise in medical microwave imaging, specifically with the Tissue Sensing Adaptive Radar (TSAR) system for breast imaging.
