Beverly Sandalack

Beverly Sandalack is a professor and an associate dean (academic) of Landscape + Planning with UCalgary’s Faculty of Environmental Design. She is also a co-director of the Urban Lab, a research group dealing with urban design, landscape architecture, community design, and urban development issues.

Her research interests include urban design, cultural landscapes, walkability and public realm design.

Bev is a registered landscape architect and planner specialized in urban design and she continues to practice with Sandalack and Associates, where her work emphasizes a landscape approach to urbanism.
